In the fall of 2025, IRWA Chapter 7 took the first important step in its digital transformation journey by implementing Eventbrite as its primary platform for event registration and management. The transition to a cloud-based event management solution was driven by a desire to streamline administrative processes, improve the attendee experience, and provide chapter leaders with modern tools to support the planning and execution of educational programs, networking events, and special chapter activities.

Prior to implementing Eventbrite, event registration and attendee management often required a combination of manual processes, spreadsheets, email communications, and multiple tracking systems. While successful events continued to be delivered, the Board recognized an opportunity to modernize these workflows and create a more efficient, scalable system for managing chapter events. Eventbrite provided a centralized platform that simplifies registration, automates confirmation and reminder communications, and offers real-time visibility into event participation.

One of the most significant benefits of the new platform is its cloud-based architecture, which ensures that event data, attendee information, and registration records are securely stored and accessible to authorized chapter leaders regardless of changes in volunteer leadership. This approach aligns with Chapter 7's broader technology strategy of maintaining organizational data within chapter-managed systems rather than relying on individual volunteers to retain critical information.

Beyond registration management, Eventbrite has expanded the Chapter's ability to enhance the event experience through integrations with partner applications and event management tools. These capabilities allow Chapter 7 to more effectively track continuing education participation, generate attendance records, and support the documentation needed for professional development and certification requirements. The platform also enables the creation and printing of professional event name badges, helping streamline check-in processes and improve attendee networking opportunities.

Additionally, Eventbrite's integration capabilities provide new opportunities to recognize and support event sponsors. Sponsor information can be more easily displayed, shared, and incorporated into event materials before, during, and after an event, increasing visibility for sponsoring organizations while strengthening the value of sponsorship programs. The ability to centralize attendee information, sponsor details, event communications, and educational tracking within a connected ecosystem creates a more professional and consistent experience for members, guests, and partners alike.

The implementation of Eventbrite represents more than a new registration tool. It reflects Chapter 7's continued commitment to leveraging technology that improves operational efficiency, supports volunteer leaders, and enhances member value. By modernizing event management processes and adopting a flexible cloud-based solution, the Chapter has established a foundation that will support future growth while delivering a more seamless and engaging experience for everyone who participates in Chapter 7 events.
